They released their singles on CD and vinyl with “Jigsaw Puzzles†being a full-fledged physical production. Unlike many of the other digital labels polluting the Dance scene, they were able to achieve a feat scarce in the Dance industry. The album featured exclusive music from the likes of Deadmau5, Myon & Shane 54, Matt Cerf, and many more. On the label, Zya released many of his most memorable originals as well as his first mix album, “Jigsaw Puzzlesâ€. The single, “Your Girls Favorite DJâ€ĭuring all of this chaos, Zya along with Michael Badal, opened up their own independent label, Jigsaw Recordings. He also had the privilege of releasing two of his own EP’s on the Play Digital imprint, “DJ Boy EP†and “Your Girls Favorite DJ EPâ€. Funkenstein†and “Attention Whoreâ€. Zya has gone on to remix two Deadmau5 tracks including “Dr. The success of the remixes alone soon caught the attention of Canadian label-boss responsible for the success of the now infamous Deadmau5, Mellefresh. Zya spiced up the original with his signature heavy style, which really gave the track the aggressiveness it deserved. Having already been supported by Hatiras from that remix, Zya then connected with house legend Hatiras to provide his own take on his chart topping song, “Poppin’ Beatsâ€. After that gig, Eddy landed a tri-monthly residency at Crobar as well as being a guest dj at other local Chicago hot spots such as Mission, Stone Lotus and Spy Bar.Īfter being a resident dj on Energy 92.7, Eddy was offered his own radio mix show along with 3 other radio dj's and formed "Ghetto House Radio", A 2 hour mix show dedicated to House Music lovers. In October of 2007 Eddy was booked to play at the world famous CROBAR nightclub in Chicago. In February of 07 Eddy became the official resident dj for VANITY SF (San Francisco’s LEADING After hours promotions company) and now is known as San Francisco’s OFFICAL After hours DJ and in July of 07 Eddy landed a monthly residency at the infamous Daylight After After Hours in Los Angeles.
